Terms of Service

AnimStok is a digital marketplace platform that connects livestock buyers, sellers, traders, and suppliers across India. We facilitate discovery, communication, and trade of live animals, poultry, meat, seafood, eggs, and related produce.

By accessing or using AnimStok ("the Platform"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

• You must be at least 18 years of age.
• You must have a valid Indian mobile number (used as your identity on the Platform).
• You must be operating lawfully — with any applicable FSSAI, veterinary, or trade licences where required by law.
• You are responsible for all activity on your account.

AnimStok is a neutral marketplace platform. We do not buy, sell, own, or take custody of any animals, meat, or produce listed on the Platform.

We do not:

• Guarantee the quality, health, or fitness of any listed animal or produce.
• Verify every listing or every user (verification badges indicate our best-effort check, not a guarantee).
• Mediate or participate in pricing, negotiations, or final transactions.
• Process payments — all financial transactions are between buyer and seller directly.

Mandi rates shown are indicative and sourced from public market data or manual inputs. They are not guaranteed prices and may differ from actual market conditions.

• You are solely responsible for the accuracy of listings you create.
• You must not list animals or produce that are illegal to trade, transport, or sell under Indian law.
• You must not post false, misleading, or fraudulent listings.
• AnimStok reserves the right to remove any listing at its discretion, without notice.
• Free listings are offered at our discretion. We may introduce paid tiers in the future with advance notice.

Buyers: You are responsible for verifying the animal, produce, or product before completing any transaction. We strongly recommend physical inspection before payment. AnimStok is not liable for any loss arising from transactions made on the Platform.

Sellers: You warrant that animals and produce listed comply with applicable health, veterinary, and trade laws. You are responsible for accurate description of the listed stock.

You may not use AnimStok to:

• List species that are protected under the Wildlife Protection Act 1972.
• Facilitate fraudulent transactions or misrepresent stock.
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users.
• Scrape, copy, or republish Platform content without permission.
• Use automated bots or systems to access the Platform.
• Violate any applicable Indian law, including but not limited to the IT Act 2000 and its amendments.

AnimStok may send you transactional messages via WhatsApp when a buyer enquires about your listing. By joining the Platform, you consent to receive such messages on the mobile number provided.

You can opt out at any time by contacting us or deleting your profile.

All content, branding, and software on AnimStok (excluding user-submitted content) is owned by AnimStok and protected under applicable Indian intellectual property law. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AnimStok and its team shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Platform, including but not limited to financial losses from transactions, animal health issues, or delivery disputes.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in India. The IT Act 2000, Consumer Protection Act 2019, and other applicable Indian regulations apply.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after any change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify users of material changes where reasonably possible.
